The Baglung-Burtibang road section of Mid-Hilly Pushpalal highway would be closed for eight hours daily for one month for the road expansion.

A meeting of stakeholders held under chairmanship of Chief District Officer, Luk Bahadur Chhetri, at the District Administration Office, Baglung, on Wednesday took the decision to close the road section for eight hours from September 4 to October 4.

The road section would be closed for the road expansion from the district headquarters to Kathekhola rural municipality-1 along the road section. Chief District Officer Chhetri said that the traffic along the road section would be closed from 7:30 am to 9:30 am and 10:30 am to 4:30 pm every day for one month.

An alternative road from Akshete to Baglung bazaar via Pala and Mulpani could be used during the road closure hour.
